Personalised teddies, personalised birth prints, can you tell I am a bit into names at the moment? Maybe it is because of the impatiently awaited royal baby and all the name guessing that is happening everywhere. But royal or not, your child’s name is one to treasure forever and my kids love spotting their names on things. I recently came across these stylish personalised mirrors and think they look fantastic:
These gorgeous wall mirrors are (hand)made right here in Australia by the talented Sarah Cooper from Scoops Design. If your child has a name that never appears on keyrings or mugs you’ll be pleased to know you can put together your very own name mirror letter by letter. Each letter costs $12 and you can choose from uppercase, lowercase or starting with uppercase followed by lowercase characters. To finish it off simply add one of six animal or object shapes to suit your child’s bedroom perfectly.
If you prefer something a bit more neutral there are plenty of other beautiful Scoops Design mirrors available in store at Mikki and Me. From Cats and Birds to Foxes and Tigers, the Animal Family Mirrors ($65 per set) are absolutely delightful and would make a great statement piece in your nursery or playroom. The shatterproof mirrors are made from perspex and don’t worry, the removable adhesive will not mark your walls.
And there is more where this came from, there are also some lovely themed sets available that cover the most popular bedrooms. Space, Ocean, Princess, Transport, Farm, what is it that your little one goes crazy for? This Circus Wall Mirror Set ($75) is my big favourite, I think the baby elephant is just adorable.
