FGB Bosisto's

With four children in the house it is always busy. They’re a gorgeous bunch but they make lots of mess and dirty laundry, it is almost impossible to keep up with it and if one or more of them are sick it is even harder. Especially now that the twins are attending kindy they often come home with coughs and colds, I can’t avoid that but at least I know I can jump right in and fight back with Bosisto’s, also known as ‘The Parrot’.

I discovered Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil a few years ago and over time I have found more and more uses for this great 100% natural Australian product. Most people will know Eucalyptus Oil mainly for its healing and relieving properties during cold and flu season, something every Australian family struggles with when it comes to winter time. Whether you use a steam inhaler, vapouriser, nasal inhaler or throat lozenge, you can count on Bosisto’s to bring much needed relief.

The Bosisto’s range is full of great products but we have a few hot favourites that we can’t go without. When my kids struggle to sleep due to a blocked nose we always turn on our vapouriser with a dash of the Bosisto’s EucoSteam Inhalant. We really swear by it, that’s why we have 3 vapourisers: one for every kids’ bedroom! It helps clear their nose so they can sleep better and they wake up more rested, much less miserable and able to battle the cold.

But there is more, much more, to Eucalyptus Oil than meets the eye. We always have a can of Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Spray in the laundry cupboard to help me get rid of stubborn stains on our laundry, in particular the green knees the kids come home with. It leaves the laundry smelling naturally clean and I don’t have to worry about my children’s sensitive skin plus at just $8.50 a can it’s very affordable and lasts ages.

I use the same spray to freshen up the toilet and clean door handles, not only because it smells lovely but also because it kills 99.9% of germs. Then there is the cat basket and litter tray, places that can get a little smelly and harbour germs you’d rather not have in your house and again Bosisto’s saves the day. For sticky residue and mysterious marks that just won’t budge I put a few drops of Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil on a cloth and it always works a treat.

Bosistos RubLast but not least a little tip from hip hubby: Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Rub. If you’re really under the weather and you’re sore all over this warm, soothing rub offers temporary relief for sore muscles so you can handle the day a little better. He keeps a jar on his bedside table and uses it not only when sick and sore but also after doing heavy work around the house and in the garden. It rubs in easily and doesn’t leave you with marks on clothes or greasy hands.
