We’ve all had had them, those days where everything that can possibly go wrong goes wrong and things get progressively worse as the day goes on. When it’s finally bedtime you breathe a sigh of relief and hop in bed, hoping the next day will be better. In the latest Disney movie release 11-year old Alexander has one of those days too and you’ll be surprised how funny it actually is when it’s happening to someone else:
After experiencing a particularly horrible day himself Alexander Cooper is sure he is the only one doing it tough. It leaves him to think: if only the rest of his family could have an equally horrible day… His birthday wish comes through the next day and in Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day we follow the Cooper family and their misfortunes on this one, long, unbelievable disastrous day.
From accidental sleep-ins to unfortunate colds, from big typos to car troubles, from failed exams to embarrassing tumbles, the entire Cooper family is having a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. But does it make Alexander feel any better? The day is not over until it’s over and Alexander’s birthday turns out to be a lesson for all.
