If you are a big Christmas fan like I am, your festive season most likely isn’t complete without Mariah Carey. Year after year her hit song ‘All I Want For Christmas’ is one of the most played songs on radio, TV and in many households, I for one have already sang along several times this year and it’s only November! This week the world will discover a very different side of Mariah with the release of this magical Christmas movie:

The holiday season is the perfect time to snuggle up with the family and enjoy a fabulous feel-good movie that young and old will enjoy, get ready to fall in love with a little girl called Mariah and find out what she really desires for Christmas in Mariah Carey’s: All I Want for Christmas Is You.

When little Mariah (Breanna Yde) sees a darling puppy named ‘Princess’ at the pet store, she suddenly knows exactly what she wants for Christmas. But before her Christmas wish can come true, she must prove that she can dog-sit her uncle’s dog, Jack, a scraggly rascal; in fact, the worst dog in the county! Jack turns Mariah and her family’s perfect holiday preparations upside down in hilarious ways.

It wasn’t exactly the Christmas she wished for…, it was more than she ever wanted. Based on the iconic Christmas song and popular illustrated book of the same name, ‘Mariah Carey’s: All I Want for Christmas Is You’ featuring Mariah’s music and narration will be a family favourite for years to come.

‘Mariah Carey’s: All I Want for Christmas Is You’ is now available on DVD (RRP $29.95) at all good retail stores across Australia.

A plane trip to Europe is always going to be long and exhausting, even more so when you are traveling with three little ones. Luckily the oldest two were quite easy to entertain with movies, games and activity books but our littlest one is just a bit too young to enjoy that. She loved colouring, yummy snacks, playing with dolls and cars, more snacks, reading books, and did I say snacks? We brought two new books with us on the plane, the first one is this new Zoe and Beans release called Pants on the Moon.

In Zoe and Beans – Pants on the Moon the two lovable friends travel into space. It all started with Zoe hanging up her washing when all of a sudden a big gust of wind blows them high up into in the sky, along with the washing they fly past aeroplanes to the moon. You can image this was a great topic for our plane trip and the kids loved it, they were a little relieved though when Zoe and Beans made it safely back to earth (and we did too).

The Zoe and Beans range is written by talented father and daughter team Mick and Chloe Inkpen. Life is never boring for gorgeous girl Zoe and her loyal pet dog Beans, every day is another adventure. The illustrations are absolutely divine, you’ll fall in love with Zoe the moment you meet her. Although my youngest really enjoyed the pictures I think the books are most suitable for ages 3 and up. Here’s a sneak peek at one of the other Zoe and Beans books:
