Colour and Spice

I can just manage to remember the different birthdays but with four kids it is sometimes a bit tricky to remember who weighed what and at what time they were born. Instead of every time having to dig up the blue books I decided to get each child a personalised birth print for their bedroom wall, problem solved! It was about time we got one for baby Sybil who is now four months old and I found a gorgeous one at Colour and Spice:

Name ArtMost parents put a lot of thought into choosing the right name for their child so it is really lovely to see that special name ‘on show’ in such a beautiful way. It is also a sweet way to tell your children about their birth, my twins are always asking me how little they were, what they looked like and why we picked the names that we did. Our Colour and Spice print is looks absolutely perfect in Sybil’s nursery.

Personalised A-Z PrintWhen you’ve finally picked your favourite personalised print (this will take you a while) you simply include your unique details and submit your order online. Your custom made print ($32) will be on its way within 1-2 days and delivered to your door free of charge (Australia only). Colour and Spice prints are unframed however if you wish you can include a beautiful White Shadow Box Frame with your order so you can hang/stand your new print straight away, how easy is that?

Havoc Denim – Summer 2012

If you haven’t already now is the time to put away your dark winter clothes and swap them for fresh, vibrant colours that will bring out the summer feeling in all of us. The new Havoc Denim Summer range has recently arrived in stores all around Australia and stylish mums are snapping up their favourite pieces very quickly. So which items are the ones to look out for?

One of my favourites is the Girls 50’s Check Ruffle Top, a very sweet design featuring a classic red and white checkered fabric, cute shoulder ties and a diagonal neckline for a unique twist. The gorgeous model is wearing this style with the coloured denim mini shorts (available in green and fuchsia) but of course you can easily team it up with a pair of blue denim jeans, shorts or a skirt.

The ruffle trend can also be found in the new Havoc Denim Ruffle Dress. The dress offers a hip combination of a soft blue denim fabric, lots of ruffles and four large decorative buttons finished off with a lovely tie at the back. As always Havoc Denim is all about the details, every single garment is hand finished so you can sure to expect a unique garment that is of the highest quality.

And just because I have a soft spot for red I can’t help but show you the Girls Cotton Playsuit; cheerful, comfortable and lightweight for a warm summer day. Last summer my daughter wore her Havoc Denim playsuit all the time so I hope I can get my hands on this one too, it will no doubt be a favourite in no time. If you love Havoc Denim make sure you ‘like’ the Havoc Denim Facebook page, that way you’ll be the first to know about new arrivals and special sneak peeks!
