I know you all love picking up a bargain or two but many of you don’t have the time to hunt them down. Lucky for you bargain hunting is one of my big hobbies and I don’t mind sharing my finds with you. This week’s special sale mention goes to the home of eco friendly baby products, Avidiva:

Right now you can save up to 80% on selected products at Avidiva, prices as marked and offer is valid until April 30 or while stock lasts (whichever is sooner you better be quick!).

Babyjo BeaniesIf you are lucky enough to be expecting a little bundle (or even just shopping for one) now is the time to stock up on super soft bamboo baby clothes by Australian fashion label Babyjo. Most styles are reduced by 50% and prices start at just $9.95, now that’s what I call a steal. Rompers, pyjamas, blankets, singlets and more, there is plenty of gorgeous bamboo baby wear to choose from.

Dandelion SaleYou can also save up to half price on selected Dandelion baby toys, a fantastic baby shower gift idea. Using bamboo, organic cotton and corn Dandelion creates a wonderful range of baby products that are natural and safe for your baby, after all no one likes to expose their precious baby to nasty chemicals. We love the brightly coloured Dandelion Corn Teething Rings (now $8.95), not only are excellent for soothing sore gums but they’re great for shaking and developing motor skills too.

BecoThingsWhen little people visit our home they love eating from our Becothings plates and drinking from our Becothings cups. The colours are fun, the shapes attractive and the size and shape perfect for small hands. I think the normal price of $22.95 for a 3-piece set is already excellent but the sale price of $14.95 is seriously cheap, I may even grab a few more sets myself! The Becothings Feeding Set consists of a plate, bowl and cup and is available in blue, pink or green.

These days more and more people realise that recycling is not just about saving money or being too stingy too buy something new, there is much more to it. It is about looking after the environment thoughtfully and finding creative ways to reuse products or materials to create something new so you are not adding to landfill when there is no need to. The clever people at Dandelion have to totally mastered the skill of recycling with their new Re-Play range which is now available at Sustainababy.

The bright and colourful Re-Play products are made is the USA from recycled milk containers (USA FDA-approved recycled plastic), what a fantastic way to re-use something very ordinary that people would normally throw in the bin without thinking twice about it. The recycled plastic material is free from BPA, phthalates and PVC so it is a completely safe choice, because your child’s health is so important and nothing to gamble with.

At the moment the youngest member of our household is not her usual happy self. She has a decent number of teeth already (at only 15 months old) but I think some more are on the way , at least I hope that is what it is otherwise I really have no idea. To help ease the discomfort she is using both a teether for her to bite and chew on (more about that another day) as well as an amber teething necklace from Gummy Babies.

Gummy Babies is an Australian store filled with great products for babies, kids and even adults. Most items in store are chosen because of their gentle, eco-friendly qualities, something that is very important to many modern Australian parents. The range has been handpicked by parents just like you, who wanted to make it easy for you to shop from home for quality pieces for your own family or gifts. To make your shopping experience as pleasant as possible you don’t have to worry about postage, all Australian orders ship free of charge.

The Gummy Babies range consists of some well known labels like Dandelion, Lamaze and Aden + Anais, this last name is famous for it’s fabulous baby wraps and sleeping bags in the most gorgeous prints. This Aden + Anais Cozy Sleeping Bag ($48, size medium, large and extra large) is available in a boy and girl design and is made of 100% natural muslin to keep your baby cool this summer.

I admit that I had my doubts about the effect (if any) amber would have on babies but figured it was at least worth a try. The baby has only just started wearing her necklace but my three year old daughter wears hers all the time and we have definitely seen a change in her behaviour, she seems happier. At Gummy Babies you’ll find Teething Necklaces in several colours to suit your taste and at the moment they are on special for just $19.95.

Although more and more parents are getting to know the comforting properties of amber for children there are many adults who don’t know that amber can be beneficial for adults too. Amber contains a natural analgesic which can offer effective relief for rheumatoid pains, migraines, colds and general aches and pains. Gummy Babies stocks both amber bracelets and necklaces for adults, prices start at $18.

To find out more about Gummy Babies, to browse the range and to order online visit www.gummybabies.com.au.
