We’ve only just come home from our European adventure and now school holidays are about to start again! I obviously won’t miss the morning rush and packing lunches every day but I will have to get organised and put some activities together as we used up all our craft and read all our books multiple times on the plane trip. At least I have got our two big girls covered with some awesome new additions to their Forever Clover collection:

Forever Clover Series 4

We’ve been collecting Forever Clover cards for quite some time, every now and then I treat my girls to a new pack and they enjoy watching their collection grow. If you haven’t heard of Forever Clover before you can read more about this wonderful Australian swap trend here, I am sure you will love it as much as my girls do.

Forever Clover Series 4 Swap PackForever Clover recently released a brand new series of cards and collectibles that is sure to be welcomed with open arms by existing fans and win over the hearts of the newcomers in a flash. All your favourite Forever Clover friends return in Series 4 with 72 gorgeous swap cards to collect, each card is beautifully illustrated and shows the girls on holiday, in their secret clubhouse, at the carnival and more.

Forever Clover Charm BraceletSome of the cards also show the girls’ favourite clover charms and the exciting news is that you can collect those charms too! There are 13 different charms available, just clip them on your very own Forever Clover Charm Bracelet or Key Ring (sold separately) and you’ll feel like a real Forever Clover girl yourself. Each series 4 pack contains 6 cards, 1 mini card and 1 special clover charm, which one do you like most? Other items in the range include albums, magnets collector tins and more.

Forever Clover Collector TinWith prices starting at just $3.95 for a swap card pack ($5.95 for series 4) Forever Clover is both fun and affordable, kids can save up and use their pocket money and (grand) parents can treat their girls to some new cards without breaking the bank. Even though my girls are far off from completing their album they really love playing with their cards, they are always making up stories and adventures based on the pictures.

In a time where there is way too much adult content available to young children Forever Clover offers sweet, innocent, child appropriate entertainment for young girls, such a welcome change. You can purchase Forever Clover cards at participating news agencies across the country and online.

Right now Hip Little One readers can enjoy an exclusive 25% off storewide at Forever Clover, simply enter the code ‘WIY7S6UIZU6T’ at checkout. Offer is valid for Australian orders only and will end on October 7, 2014.

Thanks to Forever Clover we have two fantastic Forever Clover prize packs (RRP $70) to give away. Each prize pack contains the Forever Clover series 4 album, a sticker and activity book, a series 3 tin, four series 4 swap card packs and one set of magnets, now wouldn’t that be an great boost for your Forever Clover collection?

In these times of e-mail, e-cards, Facebook, iMessage, SMS and Whatsapp more and more people have started skipping the traditional letter or postcard. Rudy and the Dodo

If you ‘like’ Hip little one on Facebook you may have read about our son’s hospital adventure last week. On the first day of term one of his kindy buddies, for reasons we will never know, decided to put a little seed in my son’s ear… To cut a long story short he ended up under general anaesthetic to have the seed removed. Today is his first day back at school and of course he is little nervous, I so wish I had on hand some of these gorgeous Lunch Mail cards from Rudy and the Dodo to put a smile on his face:

Lunch Mail ($14.95 per set of 24)

Lunch Mail ($14.95 per set of 24)

Lunch MailEach Lunch Mail kit ($14.95) contains 24 different messages, printed on cool little square cards with a pop out window. From gentle encouragements and lovely compliments to fun questions, kids will love finding one of these surprises in their lunchbox. The funky and colourful illustrations are sure to brighten up that soggy ham and cheese sandwich, bruised apple and squashed banana.

Lunch Mail LoveYou can also add your own special note on the back of the card for a personal touch. I know how much I love a phone call or sweet text from my hubby to break up my day so I hope my kids will love a midday mama message too. There are three Lunch Mail kits to choose from, I think they all look equally awesome and I am definitely going to buy these for my little kindy students!
