After 12 years away from my family I can safely say that saying goodbye does not get any easier. In fact, it only seems to get harder every time! Knowing this I give myself two months after each farewell to feel homesick and this week my time is up, I don’t feel exactly ready yet but it’s time to face the world again. If you’re feeling a little down in the dumps too or could just do with a lovely, relaxing evening out filled with big belly laughs here’s a tip for you:

After the huge success of The Play That Goes Wrong the expectations were high for Peter Pan Goes Wrong and Mischied Theatre once again delivered. We all know things don’t always go to plan and in this case those trip-ups and stumbles, falls and fights and glitches and hitches are exactly what makes Peter Pan Goes Wrong disastrously funny.

On their way to magical Neverland the much-loved members of The Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society have to battle against technical hiccups, flying mishaps and cast disputes which will leave the audience in stitches. This successful West End production is a welcome treat of fabulously funny comedy packed with finely-tuned farce and Buster Keaton-inspired slapstick, who knew disaster could be this hilarious?

Since its London premiere in 2013 Peter Pan Goes Wrong has been bringing smiles all across the UK and the West End and even earnt a nomination for an Olivier Award for Best New Comedy, so grab your tickets today and settle in for two hours of roaring laughter.

On its way to Neverland Peter Pan Goes Wrong will stop in Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney and Perth.
