She may only be three years old but our miss Sybbie is always trying to keep up with the big kids, with all the older siblings off on their new scooters it was only a matter of time until this little adventurer followed suit. She’s turning out to be a real daredevil who loves cruising the local park on her Globber wheels (with mama watching nervously from the sidelines!):
Being a 3-wheel scooter the cool Globber MyFREE Up (RRP $130, ages 3+) allows young riders to experience the joy and excitement of riding and controlling their own scooter, while being supported by a sturdy, well balanced frame that makes it easier for them to stay upright.
This funky Globber scooter may be smaller in size but it is just as big in style, safety, durability and quality as the rest of the Globber family. The curved design looks playful and child-friendly and it rides super smooth. With a weight limit of 50kg and a height adjustable handlebar that can be changed from 67.5 up to 77.5cm the Globber MyFree Up grows effortlessly with your child so kids can scoot around for longer.
Designed with young children in mind the MyFree Up is fitted with a range of great features that ensure a safe, comfortable ride for little legs. Take for example the steering lock which locks the steering to help new riders master the stepping and rolling action (quite tricky when you’re learning!) without having to worry too much about steering at the same time. The special X-cross deck design creates a stronger deck and improves directional turning performance using the T-bar handlebar.
Personally I feel the low deck design is fantastic, it makes it so much for easier for kids to get on and off with confidence and thanks to not having to lift their feet that high riding is less tiring too. As a beginner Sybbie usually takes lots of little steps with short roll-outs, but the colourful dual-injection deck is roomy enough for small feet to stand next to each other when going down-hill or to have a rest while being pushed by a helpful adult.
The MyFree Up is currently available in five trendy colours suitable for street smart boys and girls, so there is a perfect ride for everyone. Being a real girly-girl our little lady obviously voted for pink, she even insisted on a helmet to match!
