When I think of Easter I always think of a nice long weekend in April, so I was a little shocked to discover that Easter actually falls in March this year, that’s soon! With just over 3 weeks to go it’s time to get your thinking caps on and plan a fun few days outside with the family. Need some inspiration? The outdoor specialists at Anaconda are here to help:
During Great Outdoors Month (February 24 – March 24) you can visit Anaconda stores across Australia for loads of outdoor fun. Whether you are an adventurous camper, a fishing enthousiast, a keen cyclist, a thrill seeking climber, hiker or relaxed walker, they’ve got you covered this Easter.
As a mum of five young children I know the logistics of camping with kids can be a little scary, so if you are a bit nervous too make sure you check out all the Camp Out action at your local Anaconda store. The team is ready to ‘ inspire, equip and enable’ using helpful demonstrations on setting up your tent, packing your sleeping bag, cooking a camp meal and much more.
Even if you prefer to stay close to home there are plenty of ways to get active. Turn off those mobile phones, tablets and computers and set off to explore your own neighbourhood. Go for a ride on your local bike track (drop in for the ‘maintain your bike’ demo), catch a big one at a lake or beach (learn how to set up a fishing line in store) or play a game of tennis in your backyard or a park.
While parents are stocking up on expert knowledge the kids will have a ball in the special kids’ corner (selected stores). Activity tables, face painting, a bug garden, balloons, a yummy BBQ… there is nothing boring about a visit to Anaconda. Our kids have made a little start at home already with the Anaconda Colouring Competition; there are 4 different images to choose from and you can print them at home, quick and easy.
Hot Tip: Make sure to share your favorite outdoor adventure on the Anaconda Facebook page for your chance to win two nights at a Big4 Caravan Park + a $500 Anaconda Gift Card!
