A very happy Father’s Day to all the wonderful dads out there! Our children are blessed with an amazing daddy who truly deserves to be in the spotlight (any day, not just on Father’s Day). When I talked to the kids about presents for daddy and asked them what he likes they all said ‘fast cars’ which is spot on, he has loved watching Formula 1 and Top Gear for as long as I have known him. Obviously the family budget doesn’t allow for a his own ‘racing car’ but I can treat him to a relaxing evening with some of his favourite tv-shows:

Top Gear Patagonia SpecialA great pick for big V8 lovers, Top Gear: Patagonia Special (RRP $24.95) follows Jeremy, Richard and James as they take three V8 powered sports cars out for an epic and arduous 1600 mile road trip through Patagonia, a sparsely populated region located at the southern end of South America. As always the fantastic, fun, feisty trio is in for a journey full of surprises, navigating their cars past swamps, deserts, forests, beaches and snowy mountain passes.

Top Gear The Complete Series 22If, like my hubby, you can never watch enough of the world’s biggest car programme you can relax to your heart’s content with Top Gear: The Complete Series 22 (RRP $24.95). With over 8 hours of Top Gear adventures, spread out over 3 discs, dads across the globe are in for a real treat. From Australia to St. Petersburg, from Lamborghinis to Land Rovers, from classic cars to the new BMW i8 hybrid, this epic season is sure to satisfy the needs of every single car fan.

These new Top Gear releases are available at leading retailers across Australia, you can still pick one up today to surprise dad for Father’s Day!
