Penguin Australia

Over the last few months I have featured quite a few children’s book about sports. We have talked about footy and we discovered swimming, but today would have to be the very first time I am writing about karate here on Hip Little One:

The Worm Who Knew Karate

In ‘The Worm Who Knew Karate’ we meet Brian, a happy little worm who lives in a window box. All is well in Brian’s world, until he finds out that ‘The early bird catches the worm’… Surely there is something he can do to prevent that!

Worm

Brian does what no worm has ever done before, he heads into town to take karate lessons. He may not be your ordinary karate student but after lots of practice he masters all the necessary karate skills. No bird messes with Brian, the worm who knew karate.
