As long as I can remember I have loved reading and I am so glad my children love reading too. Before my children were born I had already started collecting books to read to them, small books, big books, some written by famous writers, others by unknown authors, I just love books and I am trying to look after my collection with care. Unfortunately the kids are not as careful with their books and these days many of them look far from representable. This week I came across an absolutely amazing discovery that will bring the most beautiful stories into your child’s bedroom without the risk of ripped pages and curled corners.

Australian company Spineless Classics turns classic titles into a work of art by printing the complete book on one (or even multiple) huge poster(s). To really complete the picture a suitable image is placed within the text so from a distance these prints look just stunning. When you come closer you can actually read the entire book with the naked eye, how fabulous is that? Spineless Classics are printed on 170gsm, satin finish (non-reflective) paper with state-of-the-art printing technology, this means the text is sharper than sharp and easy to read. The prints are delivered unframed so you can frame your classic as you wish, making it the highlight of your living space or bedroom.

In the children’s category you will find big favourites like Alice in Wonderland (pictured left), Peter Pan, Gulliver’s TravelsThe Wonderful Wizard of Oz and more, new titles are being added all the time. You can imagine that a Spineless Classic on the nursery wall is taking bedtime stories to a whole different level! If your child’s most loved book is not available in store just yet you can always contact the Spineless Classic team and they’ll try their very best to turn your favourite into a spineless classic for you.
