If you are a regular reader of Hip little one you probably know that if at all possible I try to avoid products that contain BPA. Although there are still many baby products available that do contain BPA the market for BPA-free products is growing rapidly and hopefully more and more parents will start to realise that it is better to be safe than sorry and your child’s health is nothing something to gamble with. One company that understands the importance of this and is determined to make a difference is Kiddie Concepts.

Kiddie Concepts is an Australian family business with a passion for safe, healthy and reusable alternatives for modern families. They have combined these three important factors in their innovative Adaptable Kiddie Bottle, a reusable stainless steel kids bottle that is free of BPA, has no tiny gaps for bacteria to hide in and is non-toxic and non-leaching. What really makes this bottle stand out from the crowd is the fact that it grows with your baby and easily transforms from sippy bottle to sports bottle.

The original Adaptable Kiddie Bottle ($27.95) comes complete with an Avent Sippy Top and handles and is compatible with (nipple) teats and sippy tops from other leading brands too. This makes it really easy to replace worn or broken parts, you just buy them at your local supermarket or chemist. As baby grows and becomes a more independent, mess free drinker you can change the sippy top for the Kiddie Concepts sports top ($7.95).

The Adaptable Kiddie Bottle holds 350ml, so it holds a decent amount of water for a thirsty child yet it is not too big and heavy for tiny toddler hands. Speaking of little hands, they will have no trouble handling this design thanks to the double handles. The handles are available in the colours green, pink and blue and can be removed for thorough cleaning. The bottles are even dishwasher and steriliser safe (top rack) saving you cleaning and scrubbing.

  1. I like The Adaptable Kiddie Bottle – Sippy Top 350ml .No paint or lacquer covering the bottle (so my child cannot eat the paint or chip the paint when dropped).

  2. Im intrigued that they are designed to be compatable with other leading brands teats – not all brands put such an effort into playing nicely with others!
And I want to just say also, that its blogs like yours that are bringing people like me to the awareness of the BPA issue – I had never put any thought into it before but only want the very best for my cherubs so take write ups like yours seriously

  7. When out in public, my son will only drink from a bottle with a sports top. There are only so many times you can reuse a poptop bottle, without being worried about how long the water has been in the bottle and especially in this heat. Who knows how many toxins he might be drinking. So, for me, the fact that it is non toxic is the most important part and a sports bottle that can be reused and stand the test of time.

  13. I like the sippy top bottle. My little one is four months old, so will need something like this soon. I’m never without my earthlust stainless steel bottle, so I like the idea of him having something similar.

  14. I love the big handles and the fact its super safe for kiddies to use.

  15. I have lots of cups put away with spouts that need replacing and are unable to find replacements, so love that these are compatible with avent and other leading brands which is found everywhere.
Hate the thought of throwing out cups all the time it’s just horrible for the environment.
Also love that they are bpa free as is a must.

  18. I love that the same bottle is able to be used for three different stages – teat, sippy top and then sports top. Much better than having products that only last for a little part of a child’s development.
