I absolutely love shopping online and most of the time I am really happy with my purchases. Sometimes it can’t be a little tricky though to imagine what a certain garment looks like on real people when all you get to see is a lay-flat image of the clothing. Eeni Meeni Miini Moh has just released its very first 90-second film clip showcasing some of their stunning Summer pieces so you can see and fall in love with them ‘real life’.

If you looked carefully you probably spotted the gorgeous butter dot frill dress, the colours are just beautiful and the 100% cotton fabric is perfect for Summer. The frilled layers make this anything but an ordinary summer dress so it can easily be worn for a special occasion. For those girls who refuse to wear anything but pink tones there is also a peony pink version available, as well as a cool clover green colour option. The frill dress ($109) is available in sizes 0-5.

I personally love the crimson red Circus Ringleader T-shirt, my son would love it and he happens to be the ringleader very often (maybe not in the circus but definitely in this house!). The circus theme can be found on several garments in the Summer range and who doesn’t love rabbits in hats, elephants, jugglers or a big top circus tent. The ringleader t-shirt ($51) is available in sizes 0-5.

Baby Bundle

Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of visiting a beautiful one-day-old baby in hospital. She was just gorgeous and tiny and I brought some lovely gifts along that I think the mum really liked. It is not always easy to find the right gift and there is nothing worse than giving a present that the new parents don’t like or need. Of course they still appreciate the thought behind but it is much nicer to be able to give something unique they will love. Australian mum Anna felt the same way so she decided to help you with your gift shopping by opening her own little online store called Baby Bundle.

In store you’ll find a great selection of gifts for babies and mums, handpicked by Anna herself. Pick one item, a premade gift set or even have Baby Bundle put together a custom made bundle to suit your budget. Orders are delivered within 48 hours of receiving payment and they can be sent directly to the lucky receiver to make it easy (even to the hospital). I spotted some very cute new arrivals in store like the cheeky Little Owl Pillow Pal (24.95), he has a twin sister too.

If you like the very hip owl trend you will probably love this sweet carry case gift set by Annabel Trends ($39.95), a lovely reusable carry case filled with a gorgeous owl-print t-shirt and two pairs of matching owl socks. Designed for babies aged 6-12 months it will last a little longer than the tiny newborn clothes they grown out of so quickly. The carry case will make a lovely storage box for in the baby room.

Of course it is not just about owls at Baby Bundle, you can choose from all kinds of products that will come in handy with a new baby from skin care products to clothing, toys to baby shoes, baby wraps to feeding pillows, even nappy bags and mummy journals. With prices starting at just $7.99 up to $250 there is a perfect gift or gift bundle for every budget. All purchases include free gift wrapping and a gift card, gift shopping doesn’t get much easier than this.

For more information about Baby Bundle and to order online visit www.babybundle.com.au.

With three small children sickness tends to hang around for quite some time, normally they are not that good at sharing but of course they don’t mind passing on the germs. Of course I want them to get better as soon as possible and I know vitamines play an important part in that process so how do you make sure their intake is up to scratch when they are refusing to eat anything that looks healthy?

When I attended the Bloggers Brunch back in July I was lucky enough to meet a very helpful Blackmores employee who told me her kids happily helped themselves to the Blackmores Kids Multi and Kids Fruity Fishies jars every morning. At the time I had my serious doubts, because from all I know tablets and capsules are everything but pleasant to swallow and as a child I couldn’t run away fast enough at the sight of them. Now two months later I have to agree with her statement, my kids have taken to their daily dose of vitamins with ease and actually ask for it themselves.

Their top pick is the Blackmores Kids Fruity Fishies ($16.45 per 30), a chewable fish oil capsule that supports healthy brain development and helps maintain normal eye function and learning in children. I alternate two Blackmores products for kids but they always try their luck and ask for the ‘orange fishies’ first, it is obvious they really like the natural raspberry-orange flavour. The sweet smell did make me run to check the packaging for added sugar but no artificial sweeteners have been added.

On the other days they get the Blackmores Kids Multi ($14.95 per 60) containing 18 essential nutrients to support healthy growth and development. The Kids Multi tablets are developed to supplement the gaps in important vitamins and minerals that may result from fussy eating, something many parents worry about especially if children are/have been unwell. The yummy strawberry vanilla flavour appeals to even the fussiest eater!

With the twins starting school next year the Kids Mineral Minds ($16.45 per 60) could be very helpful. This mineral formula supports healthy brain development, learning and concentration in children, if these tablets make my children concentrate on listening to me a bit better I will start them on the Kids Mineral Minds tablets today! Some of the contents are iodine which is necessary for IQ development and several minerals necessary for school performance.

Especially for one lucky Hip little one reader the Blackmores team has put together a fantastic kids prize pack valued at $83.85, which consists of the Blackmores Kids Fruity Fishies, Kids Mineral Minds and Kids Multi as well as the Feeding Fussy Kids book by Antonia Kidman & Julie Maree Wood. The book is filled with recipes, ideas, tips, tricks and strategies to boost the nutrition of your fussy child as well as help them overcome their pickiness.

The new Eternal Creation Summer collection has arrived in stores and online and as always the fabrics are absolutely stunning. Most mums like it when their children’s clothing goes well together but don’t want to dress them identical and Eternal Creation is the perfect label for that. Within the different categories (little people 0-36 months and older children 2-10 years) the same prints and colours are used but in different cuts and garments. This makes it very easy to pick the right items for your kids without having to visit different stores hoping things will go will together. Add to that the matching accessories which are displayed next to each item and you can see why Eternal Creation is like heaven for one-stop-shoppers.

This gorgeous red (since our relaunch I keep spotting fabulous red goodies everywhere!) baby girls summer dress ($49.95, 0-36 months) in the Giselle flower print features lots of sweet details: gathered shoulder straps, zigzag bands and the cutest spotty bottom layer that peeks out from underneath. The 100% cotton fabric is a perfect lightweight choice for the warmer months and the matching red beret ($29.95, S-XL) does not only add a bit of extra flair but also keeps the sun out of your eyes.

If your daughter is not much into dresses she can still sport the Giselle print as there are lots of other styles available in store: for the little ones there are several dresses, tops, pants, a skirt and even sets with these adorable knickers to match. For the older girls there is a dress too as well as the lovely 2-pocket skirt or the Giselle shirt. Getting your kids dressed for a family photo is quick and painless with the Eternal Creation mix-match concept.

Whilst you check out the new summer arrivals make sure you browse the winter styles too, until September 30 you can get an additional 50% discount on all winter sale items by using the code WINTERFIFTY. With such bargain prices you can easily stock up for next winter. This stunning wool coat was originally $98.95 and with the discount code you can take it home for just $32.98, that is an unbeatable price for such a beautiful piece of the famous Eternal Creation quality.

If you are anything like me you always come home with new goodies for the kids but never for yourself. Of course when you are at a shopping centre it is too much of a hassle to go into a shop for you, but when you shop online at Rudy and the Dodo you have no excuse not to quickly check out the mums section. The latest arrival is perfect for hip mama’s: the funky Jellystone Designs range.

Jellystone Designs is an Australian company producing stylish, gorgeous and above all safe silicone jewellery for both mums and kids. Every single product is free of phathalate, lead, BPA, PVC and cadmium, surely it can’t get much safer than that (it is even dishwasher safe for a good clean)! The range consists of three collections and there is a hip style for every age. The colourful Jellystone Designs Bangles ($14.95 per bangle) are an easy way to add some colour to your outfit and they slide on and off without effort, very handy when you have to keep your baby or toddler entertained whilst waiting at the bank or in the doctors surgery. They are perfectly safe for little ones to suck on and soft on the gums, now that is what we call a fashionable teether.

The large chunky Jellystone pendants are a very safe and practical alternative for regular bead necklace because not only are they safe for little teeth, they are also fitted with a custom designed breakaway clasp to make sure the clasp just pops open instead of falling apart. The Jellystone Designs Organic Pendant ($17.95) is available in four classy colours to compliment your stylish outfit: eggplant, teal, storm grey and white. For those mums (and kids) who prefer something less abstract there is the Jellystone Designs Owl Pendant ($19.95), a playful birdy in bright colours that without a doubt will be attractive for little hands.
